Traudl Hecher (born September 28, 1943) is an Austrian former alpine skier and Olympic medalist. She was born in Schwaz. She received bronze medals in the downhill at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley[1] and at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.[2] Her medal in 1960, at age 16, made her the youngest Alpine skiing medalist ever, an honor she still holds fifty years later.

Her son Stephan Görgl (born 1978) and daughter Elisabeth Görgl (born 1981) are both alpine skiers who have represented Austria at the Winter Olympics. Stephan competed in the Giant Slalom at the 2006 Olympics while Elisabeth competed in the downhill at the 2006 and 2010 Olympics - winning bronze in the latter, fifty years after her mother won bronze in the same event. One year later Elisabeth became double World Champion in Garmisch 2011, winning both speed events downhill and Super-G.
